Melbourne Preppy Pet Terms of Use

1. Scope of Services & Reservations

• Informational & Booking Platform: The Site is provided to inform pet owners of our boarding, dog daycare, cat boarding, and spa services, and to facilitate reservation requests and account management.
• Reservation Requests: Submitting a booking request via our Site or online portal does not constitute a guaranteed reservation. Reservations are finalized only after verification of room availability, receipt of required vaccination records, and confirmation issued directly by Melbourne Preppy Pet staff.
• Rates & Changes: While we endeavor to display accurate pricing, service rates, holiday schedules, and policies on the Site, all rates and service offerings are subject to change. Confirmed booking rates will be honored in accordance with our direct booking agreement.

2. Pet Health, Vaccination & Admission Requirements

To safeguard all pets and personnel in our facility:

• Vaccination Verification: Prior to admission for any service (boarding, daycare, or grooming), owners must provide documented proof from a licensed veterinarian of current vaccinations (including Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella for dogs; Rabies and FVRCP for cats). We reserve the right to deny check-in to any pet lacking verified, up-to-date vaccinations.
• Health & Parasite Control: All pets must be in sound health, free from contagious conditions, and on active flea and tick prevention. If external parasites are detected upon arrival, the pet may be bathed and treated at the owner's expense.
• Behavior & Safety: We reserve the right to decline, separate, or cancel services for any animal demonstrating aggressive behavior that poses a danger to staff or other pets.

3. Lobby Hours, Check-In & Check-Out

Pets picked up outside designated lobby hours may incur extended-stay or after-hours boarding fees.

4. Emergency Veterinary Care Authorization

In the event your pet requires urgent medical care while in our custody, we will make reasonable attempts to reach you and your emergency contacts. If you or your designated contacts are unreachable, you authorize Melbourne Preppy Pet and our team to transport your pet to your designated veterinarian or the nearest emergency veterinary hospital. The pet owner accepts full responsibility for all veterinary fees, diagnostics, medications, and hospital charges incurred.

5. Client Accounts & Portal Security

When creating an account or accessing the client reservation portal, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Website Content & Intellectual Property

All logos, branding, graphics, service names, images, text, and software on this Site are the property of Melbourne Preppy Pet or our licensors and are protected under applicable trademark and copyright laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use relating to booking services, but you may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Site to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent booking requests or pet profiles.
• Transmit harmful code, viruses, automated bots, scrapers, or scripts.
• Interfere with the security or normal operation of our website, servers, or client portal.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Site and all informational content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we take reasonable steps to ensure uninterrupted availability, Melbourne Preppy Pet is not liable for technical glitches, internet interruptions, booking submission failures, or errors in posted materials. In-facility boarding, daycare, and grooming services remain governed by our signed Facility Pet Services Agreement and Boarding Contract executed upon registration or intake.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising from the use of this Site shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding related to this Site shall be instituted exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Brevard County, Florida.

10. Modifications to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates become effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
